Job Summary:

Access Services is looking for an experienced Plumbing Estimator to join our team. We offer a competitive salary and a dynamic work environment where teamwork and client relationships are a priority. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in plumbing/piping estimating and will be responsible for preparing accurate bids, maintaining client and supplier relationships, and working collaboratively with project teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Solicit, evaluate, and prepare bids for plumbing projects.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints (3D, BIM), and the latest technology applications for accurate project estimation.
• Utilize commercial estimating software to develop precise cost estimates.
• Promote company services and secure new bid opportunities.
• Review all bid-related documents to ensure accurate pricing and scope of work.
• Prepare detailed plumbing estimates and material take-offs.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site inspections to assess project scope.
• Participate in bid/no-bid decisions to improve bid success rates.
• Discuss and negotiate project proposals with customers.
• Prepare change order estimates for ongoing projects as needed.
• Analyze bid results and recommend improvements for future projects.
• Order materials from plumbing suppliers and keep material lists updated for active projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3 to 5 years of plumbing/piping estimating experience required.
• Reports directly to the Project Manager.
• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel; experience with estimating software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience working with commercial estimating software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
